Terms of Service
Use FacilityProof as bounded environmental evidence infrastructure, not as a legal compliance verdict.
Effective September 26, 2026.
Service scope
FacilityProof provides source-reconciled research derived from authoritative public environmental systems. Results are informational evidence support. They are not legal advice, a legal compliance opinion, an environmental audit, engineering advice, a permit, a regulator decision, or a guarantee that a facility is compliant or noncompliant.
Evidence limitations
A missing record means only that the released bounded sources and search did not return that record. It does not prove that no permit, inspection, violation, enforcement action, penalty, obligation, or other record exists. Sources can be incomplete, delayed, unavailable, changed, corrected, or internally inconsistent. FacilityProof preserves source gaps, freshness, conflicts, and limitations rather than converting absence into a compliance conclusion.
Paid operations and billing
Current prices, released states, and payment methods are published through live capability and payment-challenge surfaces. Identity, jurisdiction, source-routing, and release checks must pass before a paid challenge. A payment challenge or attempted payment is not a completed purchase. Settlement and result delivery are separate states.
If settlement succeeds but delivery fails, retry the identical request with the identical payment credential so the prior settlement can be recovered without another charge when the payment rail supports it. For duplicate charges, incorrect charges, or unrecoverable settled delivery, contact hello@davisvillelabs.com. Billing corrections and refunds are handled according to applicable law, payment-provider rules, and any terms expressly presented with the transaction.
Acceptable use and caller responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of submitted information, for deciding whether to rely on a result, and for satisfying laws, permits, professional duties, contracts, and internal approval requirements that apply to your use. Do not submit credentials or secrets, probe private systems without authorization, evade access controls, or misrepresent FacilityProof as government certification or legal clearance.
Independent service
FacilityProof is an independent Davisville Labs LLC product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency or any state or local environmental agency.
